We will not meet on December 29, but will return January 5.
The season leading up to Christmas is known as Advent. Advent’s colors are blue and purple. Its themes are hope, peace, joy and love.
During Advent, we get historical and liturgical. The words ring with our ancient heritage. The music is unexpected and familiar. We notice that our faith is thousands of years old.
And we remember that we are all waiting for the birth of Christ in the world and in our hearts. Again.
Join us Sunday evenings at 5 pm Pacific, in person in San Jose, California and right here.
We practice the presence of God through worship, community, Communion, meditation, immersion in nature, creativity…life lived mindfully and heart-fully aimed toward God.
Most Sundays we gather for singing, prayer, Psalms, community, Communion, teaching—with contemporary music (and some great old hymns), progressive theology, Biblical accuracy, and a sense of hope and humor.
